Micro home project-- How to make a straight line using string.

So you want to spice up your home with a new colour. Bought the things and you're set to go but wait, you just found out that you need to make a straight line on the wall first.

Have you been in this situation? I know i did and today i'm going to give you a tip on how to make your home decoration easy. This tip can be helpful for those of you who're living in a huge home. Ready to decorate your home? Read on.

    Things you need.
    1. Long strings ( not too thick and not too fine ).
    2. Black ink or coloured chalks.

    Step 1.
Decide where the line should be using pencil or any sort of mark. Let say the line is 3 feet from the floor and mark it as point A and point B. Refer to the diagram.

    Step 2.
Dip your string into the ink or coloured chalk. Put the one end on point A and the other on point B. Make sure it is nice and tight. Pinch the string about 2 feet from point A and pull it about an inche from the wall. Release it and you can see a straight line on your wall. Now you can decorate your wall with your own colour.

Not just this tip can help you in painting your wall but also great for making wall borders or furnitures. Hope this helps.
